Horizontal Laminar Air Flow Cabinet
Horizontal Laminar Flow benches are designed to meet the standard of filtration, illumination, noise and vibration requirements and US federal standard 209 B (BS 5295), providing air to meet class 100 (class) conditions, to the extent applicable.
These are basically constructed out of thick wooden board. All exteriors surfaces are covered with white laminates. Interior surfaces are epoxy coated for longer time. Work table is covered with stainless steel (SS-304 grade) and the side panels and collapsible front door are made of thick transparent Plexiglass.
Laminar flow banches are based on work principle involving double filtration of air. The atmospheric air which is drawn through pre filter is made to pass through a highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air) filters having efficiency rating as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% with hot DOP, thus retaining all airborne particles of size 0.3 micron and large. Th double filtered air blows in through the work table at a designed velocity of 90ft min±20%. Using a dynamic balance machine the blowers and motor assembly are statically balanced to provide adequate airflow over the entire surface of HEPA filter and thus a uniform flow over the workbench. Heavy duty motor operates with minimum noise level (lower than 65 dl on scale) and vibration less than 2.5um.
The entire work bench is illuminated by diffused, glare free fluorescent lighting arrangement at top and also fitted with a built in U.V. Germicidal tube. A inclined manometer for static pressure is also fitted to the unit as a standard accessory. All units are also provided with cock for gas, air or vacuum line.
Supplied complete with satin sunmica table top, transparent front door, static pressure manometer, built in U.V. germicidal light and cock for gas, air or vacuum line, HEPA filters and pre filters.
